“We’ve been LACES users
for the past year and can’t say enough about the how responsive
the tech staff has been. They really “get” adult literacy,
and also know how to explain technical issues to non-techies.
They’ve been great about implementing all kinds of changes
to LACES based on our feedback and particular tracking and
reporting needs. Our funders are amazed at the kind of information
we have at our fingertips – because of LACES.”

Our roots
come from the adult education and family literacy community. Before
commercially releasing our software in 1995, it was field tested
by providers in several states and fine-tuned by its developer
– a literacy program director. We continue to work directly
with many of our clients, ensuring that our software is easy to
use and successful in tracking and monitoring unlimited amounts
of program data.
In addition to the field of education, the
people behind LiteracyPro Systems come from a number of other disciplines
including public policy, engineering, computer science, cognitive
psychology, and education. Their collective knowledge, focused
on end-user requirements, is one of the many reasons LiteracyPro
Systems is the country’s leading developer of data management software
for adult basic education, volunteer-based literacy, family literacy,
correctional literacy, and Even Start.
More than
20 Departments of Education, literacy, library, Even Start and
Corrections clients…with over 1 million learners are
being tracked by more than 800 agencies in 40 states nationwide.
We’ve learned important lessons from local, state and national
experience about developing, deploying, and supporting solutions
to help in your success.
LiteracyPro Systems provides software,
tools, and consultation for all types of literacy stakeholders.
We’ve participated in the development and interpretation of various
state performance indicators and key national reports (e.g., National
Reporting System for Adult Education and Literacy, National Even
Start Performance Report, National Institutes for Literacy, and
ProLiteracy AAR Reports)
